Within the next five years, Sri Vidhyodhaya College of Education aims to establish an Arts and Science college and introduce an Integrated Teacher Education Programme (ITEP) and M.Ed. Programme. This will increase the total student capacity as well as learning opportunities for all stakeholders.
To support this expansion, the institution plans to invest 3 crores in two new buildings. These buildings will provide additional classrooms, faculty offices, and administrative spaces.
The college will purchase 50 new computers to enhance the digital learning environment. This upgrade is essential for supporting both teaching and administrative functions.
The institution aspires to achieve NAAC A++ accreditation, a hallmark of quality in education. Also, the college will apply for 12(B) status from UGC to secure additional funding opportunities. Based on the NAAC accreditation, the college will seek autonomous status and multi-disciplinary expansion, allowing for greater academic freedom and innovation. The management has an ambition to start a school in this region so that the educational needs of the people in the area, from kindergarten to higher education, can be served and fulfilled.
The goal is to be recognized as a top educational institution at the state level, enhancing its reputation and appeal to prospective students and faculty.
Between the sixth and tenth years, the college will introduce PhD program in Education and UG, PG, and PhD Programmes in Arts and Science Streams, expanding its academic offerings and fostering a research-oriented environment. The target student population will increase to 2000.
An investment of 5 crores will facilitate the construction of five additional buildings. These structures will support the increased student body and expanded academic programs.
The college will acquire 100 new computers, ensuring that students and staff have access to the latest technology to enhance learning and research.
The institution will strive to become a leading educational institution at the national level. It will aim for a higher level of NAAC accreditation under NAAC’s maturity-based accreditation system and apply for autonomous status based on this accreditation.
The goal is to attract at least 50 percent of the student population from other states of India, fostering a diverse and inclusive academic community.
The college will continue its evolution as a multidisciplinary institution by introducing additional new courses in the Arts and Science domains, catering to a broader range of academic interests and career aspirations.
Over the long term, Sri Vidhyodhaya College of Education will introduce ten new courses, significantly broadening its academic portfolio. The student body is expected to grow to 5000.
To accommodate this growth, the college will invest 20 crores in constructing ten new buildings, providing state-of-the-art facilities for learning, research, and extracurricular activities.
The college will aim to attract at least 20 percent of its students from other countries, enhancing its international profile and cultural diversity.
The ultimate goal is to be recognized as one of the top educational institutions internationally, renowned for its academic excellence, innovative research, and commitment to societal development.
